 "With traditional Vannetaise music as a playground, their button bagpipes, their four-string bombarde and their voice as a means of expression, the Paranthoën Brothers offer a singular repertoire, daring musical colors and an assumed style, to spectators and dancers.
 Interpreting only tunes from the traditional fund, they show in this disc their ease of interpretation of concert repertoire, but also of music to make people dance.
 After more than two decades of playing as a duo, but also in Spontus and various formations with a composed repertoire, these artists now use all their virtuosity, their ability to arrange and improvisation.
 Works that are sometimes bright, sometimes darker, and always full of meaning in the service of the tunes and texts presented, resulting in a resolutely contemporary traditional music.
 After twenty-five years of skimming the stages, the Paranthoën brothers finally record their first album. »
